supreme court floor analysis:

1.) a.) On the ground floor in the filing room, over 8,000 petitions are sent in each year. b.) The Press room is visited on a day when the surpreme court releases opinions. 2.) a.)in the first floor robing room justices will put on their robes and traditionally shake hands. b.)the great room is for traditional services. 3.) a.) on the second floor the surpreme court has four interior courtyards that sourround the perimeter. b.)on days of oral argument, justices gather in the dining room. 4.) a.) the library on the 3rd floor contains all the volumes of state and federal laws. b.)it also has many other books and legal documents. 5.) a.)the west plaza pediment on the exterior floor has bronze doors. b.) The west plaza is symbolic in many ways. 6.) a.)The whole outside of the surpreme court is marble. b.) with a steel structure. 7.) a.) the first floor also has a lawyers lounge where lawyers gather for a final preperation. b.)the great hall on the first floor has symbolic artwork on the walls. 8.) a.) the john marshall dining hall is a private room, just for the justices. b.) it contians portirats from the famous Marbury v. Madison case. 9.) a.) the east plaza petiment is located tward the back of the hallway of thhe exterior. b.) it is visted way less by the public because of its location.
