I agree with having prayer.because I do believe that there is a God and Christianity is the most common religion and most reasonable. I think that that Congress needs prayer. If people don't believe or are against this type of action then, they shouldn't have to participate. Nobody has to be a Christian to pray.

Fridays debate was a good one. Both of the sides had great arguments. I would have to agree that they should lower the drinking age to 18 because if you are allowed to go off to war or move out at 18 you should be able to have a drink. After all when a person turns 18 they are legally and adult. I am pro.

Jane Addams was almost seven years old when she first sensed that city life was not all ice-cream cones and visits to the toy store. The daughter of a well-to-do Illinois businessman, Jane often went with her father on his trips to the mills that he owned. She loved playing in the great heaps of grain in the storerooms. Such a trip usually ended with a stop at the local candy store.

I don't think video games are the cause of this. The man was probably mentally ill like the doctors said. You are your own person and can control what games you play, how long you play them and how it affects your thinking. If I were a judge or somebody I would not blame this on video games. He was obviously mentally ill and just needs some time in prison for killing these inicent people.

The issue is that people don't have as much privacy as they think, and people don't feel secure like everyone should. I feel like no matter what the government does, bad things are going to happen and we can't stop them. Nothing is really as private as we like to think, we stive to help people feel secure, but we can't completly stop all bad things.

Martin Luther King Jr. was a very nobel person. He knew what he wanted in life and he wasn't going to go down without a fight. He believed that All whites and balcks should and need to be equal, and I agree 100%. All he wanted was peace. His dream was simple. and after him, many things did change, but it wasn't untill a little bit ago that people became equal. Even though it has improved since then, some people are still very raciset. I heard of a story where an owner of a bar wouldn't let a guy in because of the color of his skin...but should it matter? in my opinion, we are all people. That is how Mr. King feels too. His dream is for peace. who doesn't want that?
