(1)What is the cartoons message and (2)what does it mean? (3) is it supposed to be funny? (4) where can I find more cartoons like this? (5) does it have a title or a name?
Steps to Analyzing a political cartoon:
1. Let your eyes find the part of the cartoon that stands out the most.
2. Find the primary focus of the cartoon and fallow it.
3. Determine the audience
3. Understand the context of the cartoon.
4. look for recognizable symbols.( animals that represent a country or providence.)
5. observe the minor details that might be humorous.
In the last link:
The first drawing is dark which shows its no good. the title was "It's no laughing matter" it was obvious that the drawing was about bullying. I do not understand the second drawing.
